The Makita DKP180Z 18V 182mm LXT Planer Bare Unit is ideal for professional and DIY use as it is unrivalled for sheer power, size and performance. Carpenters, joiners and kitchen fitters, in particular, will find a lot on offer here. It has a precision machined aluminium base that allows for planing accuracy and the cutter head makes 14000 cuts per minute for fast stock removal, making this machine very versatile. Designed with a dust extraction port on the side for fitting to a dust extraction unit for a clean and tidy work area. For safety and to prevent damage to work surfaces this planer has a shoe on the underside, this is to stop the planer accidentally laying down while the blade is still moving. Sold as a bare unit without batteries or chargers.
