The Makita DLX2145TJ 18V 2×5.0Ah Li-ion Hammer Drill/Impact Driver Kit is the perfect set for tradespeople and DIYers that need to tackle a range of drilling tasks. The DHP458 is a powerful 18V hammer drill that can drill into tough materials such as masonry up to 16mm, and up to 65mm in wood. This is made possible by Makita’s new DC motor (FD31-30) and the dust and drip-proof performance means that you can take advantage of this power outdoors and in harsh environments.

The DTD152 is an 18V impact driver that has a no load speed of 0-2900rpm and a maximum fastening torque of 165Nm. Yet with all this power and performance Makita have made this tool compact and lightweight to reduce fatigue and allow you to use it in cramped spaces. The DTD152 also has variable speeds that can be controlled by a trigger, an electric brake for safety and ergonomic soft grip for comfort.

Two different tools that will cover all your drilling needs. But they do have some similarities that make this kit all the more desirable. Both have LED job lights to allow you to work safely in dimly lit areas, both utilise Makita’s impressive 18V 5Ah batteries that offer high performance for longer periods. As well as the two drill this kit also supplies you with two batteries, a DC18RC charger and a carry case.
